Calculated entirely on your device: the great-circle bearing from your location to the Kaaba, with your phone's magnetic compass corrected to true north using the World Magnetic Model (WMM2025).
Phone compasses can be thrown off by metal, magnets and electronics nearby. If the direction looks wrong, move away from them and wave your phone in a figure-8 to calibrate.

Today
Gregorian dates depend on moon-sighting and calculation method, and some observances differ among scholars.
A guided routine of authentic remembrances, one at a time, with a counter for each.
Morning adhkar are said from Fajr until the sun is high; evening adhkar from Asr until Maghrib (scholars give some flexibility).
Al-Asma' al-Husna — “To Allah belong the most beautiful names, so call upon Him by them.” (Qur'an 7:180)
This is the commonly circulated list based on the narration in at-Tirmidhi 3507; scholars differ on exactly which names that list includes.

Your Islamic Companion
SalaamStreet didn't start as an app. When Ibrahim was 12, it was an Islamic-themed online shop he built on Shopify. It didn't take off. His next attempt didn't either.
But Ibrahim kept the name and changed the idea. Instead of selling things to Muslims, what if SalaamStreet gave them something — every day, for free?
Today Ibrahim is a student at Neuqua Valley High School, where he's part of the Muslim Student Association.
SalaamStreet is one calm place to find prayer times, face the Qibla, read and listen to the Qur'an, learn authentic duas, track your prayers, start learning Arabic and remember Allah — with no ads, and with your data staying on your device.
Ibrahim had the idea; his father, Aquil, helped bring it to life.
Authentic sources
Privacy first — no ads, no tracking, no account required. Your data stays on your device unless you choose to sign in and sync.
Respect for scholarly difference
Built for everyone
We hope SalaamStreet becomes a sadaqah jariyah.
These are hopes and plans, not promises with dates — and the core will always stay free.

This translation is a draft and may contain mistakes. Corrections from native speakers are welcome.
To do this, SalaamStreet's server keeps your approximate location (about 1 km), time zone and reminder choices. Nothing else, and no account needed. Turning it off deletes them.
Reminders work while SalaamStreet is open in a tab or installed on your home screen. Phones may pause the app in the background, so keep your phone's own alarm for anything you can't miss.
Each link opens one thing in SalaamStreet. Add one to your phone and open it by voice or from your Home Screen.
iPhone and iPad: copy a link, open the Shortcuts app, tap +, add the “Open URLs” action and paste the link. Name the shortcut (for example “Continue Qur'an”), then say “Hey Siri, Continue Qur'an”.
Android: copy a link, open it in Chrome, then menu → Add to Home screen. Installed SalaamStreet also shows shortcuts when you touch and hold its icon.
No account needed: as a guest, all your data stays on this device. If you choose to sign in, your bookmarks, streaks, Qur'an progress and settings sync to your account (never your location). Your coordinates are sent only to the prayer-times service (AlAdhan) to calculate times.
What's newSources: AlAdhan (prayer times), AlQuran Cloud & Tanzil (Qur'an), Islamic Network (audio), tafsir_api (Ibn Kathir), hadith-api (hadith).
The camera is only a background — the direction comes from your location and your phone's compass.
